Annual Events and Activities

Halloween Party. Kids and Grown-ups alike enjoy the opportunity to dress up in Halloween costumes with an organized “Trick or Treat” for the kids and lots of other “spooky” activities.

Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. An elegant evening where members have the opportunity to get together for a wonderful meal complete with turkey and all the traditional trimmings.

Children’s Christmas Party. A club tradition featuring presents for the kids from our very special Santa, and all his entertaining antics. Santa has been with us for over 2 generations and has watched the members and their children grow through the years.

Kas Dr. M.J. Hugenholtz. A time for the club and its members to give back to the Curaçao community and spread a little Christmas cheer. Members prepare and serve dinner for the residents of this Elderly People’s Home.

Book Fiesta . This evening provides the best selection of books written in English available on the island. The purpose of this event is to raise money for our educational fund through the sale of second-hand books donated by members and their friends. Of course the evening is done in style with a wide array of wines and cheeses donated by local companies.

Annual Fundraising Event. Every year it takes on a new creative twist but the core focus remains the same, to raise funds for the charities that we support here on the island.

Out to Lunch Bunch. Every month any of the members who have some free time, get together for a leisurely lunch. Much eating and even more chatting characterizes this event.
